10 year old Judy started her gym career in August 2004 when she
joined an Edenvale gym club, the Gym Masters.  Her dedication to
her sport paid off and within a year she was awarded her Gauteng Colours in Trampolining.  Following on from her enthusiasm in Trampolining she turned her attentions to Acrobatics and in August 2005, Jody received her Gauteng Colours in Acrobatics for both singles and paired events. In the paired events she was ably supported by her gym partner Paige Orlik.

Jody closed off a very successful 2005, when at the SA Juniors Gymnastics annual prize presentations.  She was awarded the trophy for “Best Junior Girls”.  On the 26th August 2006 , Jody Swart received her East Gauteng Colours in Acrobatic Gymnastics.
