The Family Africa
A Fellowship of Independent Christian Missionary Communities.
The Family Africa is a Faith Based Non Profit organisation made up of full time Christian volunteers, mainly young people from South Africa and overseas
who have dedicated their lives to serving others.

The Family Africa is active in the field of HIV/AIDS education and support
with long term successful projects including:

A support group for 30 HIV/TB sufferers. The project includes basic skills training, literacy classes, sewing, knitting, food garden and feeding scheme.

Mother's Club for young HIV positive mothers and their babies, which also involves education and food supplements to help them live a healthier and longer life. The Family Africa is also helping to empower these previously disadvantaged women providing start up grants for micro businesses.

A Sunday Club in a township with a feeding scheme for over 200 hundred children.

The facilitation of two crèches through training, food supplements and the supply of educational equipment.
|
| • |
HIV/AIDS education programmes for primary and secondary schools both in Johannesburg and in rural areas. |
